We took a ride along one of the many jet boat touring companies last week. We climbed aboard a 1000 horsepowered jet boat in Gold Beach Oregon. The pilot would also perform the famous 360 spinout in the boat. The whole trip on the river was an astounding 104 miles round trip. We left at 12:00pm. and were back where we started at around 8:00 p.m. We also came across a few rafters enjoying the whitewater action on our way up river. This river is also popular with the steelhead fishermen in the late fall. The history learned about the indians and the many lodges upriver was pretty cool too.
