My boyfriend’s Dad has a large sailboat, and he is taking myself, my boyfriend, and a few others out on it this weekend. I have never been sailing, and I have no idea what to wear.

The answer really depends on where you’re sailing. Closed toed shoes or sandals are key, and out of courtesy to the boat owner, you definitely don’t want shoes that mark up the boat (avoid black or dark soled shoes unless they are specifically "non-marking." Bring some extra layers in case it’s cold on the water, along with sunscreen and a secure hat. Happy sailing.

GPS or the Global Positioning System is a technology that comprises of about 32 satellites that are situated in the geostationary orbit of the planet. I have been sailing for about 10 years now and I have time off school. I want to find a captain that needs more crew. Any trip would be suffice for me: Alaska to seattle, Florida to Bahamas, LA to Hawaiian Islands. Really anything that gets me on the open waters would be great. I love the ocean and want to be apart of something like this.
