My custom Jon Boat Modification Project
See this video with full audio at http://video.yahoo.com/watch/1906349/6316585
This is a video that shows the modifications I made to my 1977 Sea King Jon Boat. The motor is a 5 HP Air Cooled Briggs & Stratton. Total project took about 6 days of work and quite a few beers.
You can read a detailed write up on the project at….

The Background Music is as follows
1. Southern Cross – The Jimmy Buffett Version.
2. Born Country – By Alabama
3. It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere – Allan Jackson with Jimmy Buffett

Wow! Amazing job!. I am looking to build something like this. Perfect functionality, And well ballanced/ lightweight. I love the storage setup. What kind of motors are you running on it. Would just a trolling motor suffice, Or is an outboard necessary?

SWEEEEEEEEEEET …
SWEEEEEEEEEEET video ok this is about my 50th time watching this video lol. But it is way worth my time they give me so many ideas. My jon boat that i got is set up like yours. If your middle bench seat was taken out and it was a big open deck it would be just like mine except mine has gray carpet and it has a 2001 25hp johnson. I cant wait for spring to come so i can get it out and go fishing and enjoy the wildlife and water. But once again this is a sweet video and keep it up. Great ideas!!!!!
